This beer was first released in 2008 to mark the 10 year anniversary of the “Gouden Carolus Cuvée van de Keizer Blauw" and it is based on the original Easter beer recipe from the Brewery.

Appearance - Cloudy golden with a big ,foamy, white head -medium to high carbonation.

Aroma - Notes of green pear and green apple, white grape, clove, anise and bit of champagne.

Taste - Peppery and spice notes, hints of red apple rinds , caramel and bits of cloves.

It's not quite the masterpiece that Cuvée Van De Keizer is, but its a beer that can be drunk once awhile with red meat dishes.
